JOB PURPOSE:
THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF THE TRAVEL AND TOURISM DIVISION. RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING AND ACHIEVING THE AIRLINE UNIT SALES TARGETS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE AIRLINES AREA MANAGERS. ALSO, THIS POSITION SHOULD MAXIMIZE THE SALES OF THE TOURISM UNIT BY PROMOTING VARIOUS METHODS OF SALES B2B, B2C,
DUTIES - INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Coordinate with Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives to facilitate the booking of outdoor sales.
Monitor daily sales and prepare quarterly sales reports for the management.
Carefully review incidents of customer complaints to the Civil Aviation with the company's lawyer and ensure company is in a reliable situation. the
Ability to read DDS reports.
•Review customer complaints and conduct the required investigations with related stakeholders in order to provide
reasonable justifications.
• Set reactive action plans to resolve reoccurring complaints and also, proactive action plans in order to avoid/minimize all customer complaints.
• Review the contracts/agreements with the Airlines and ensure they satisfy the terms and conditions of the company. Interview new employees and provide evaluation reports to management to make decisions.
• Represent the General Manager in events or meetings outside of Kuwait related to Travel & Tourism
Conduct market research and analysis on new business opportunities and engage in new business opportunities/agreements based on prior management approval.
• Monitor employee attendance and ensure working hours are abiding by Kuwait Labor Law. • Evaluate employee performance and raise any major performance concerns to management.
• Keep the General Manager abreast of Travel & Tourism operations.
Coordinate with Airline Area Managers & Sales Teams to discuss work plans to match market situations.
• Provide necessary changes to sales plans and strategies to ensure set goals are being achieved.
Coordinate with travel agencies in order to promote company travel agency services.
• Develop and monitor the division budget.
• Coordinate with the General Manager for potential market opportunities.
• Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and review expenses regularly to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently.
Monitor and perform annual performance reviews for the Travel & Tourism Division's staff.
• Identify the training needs of the staff.
• Coordinate with the HR department to recruit, develop and retain an effective workforce.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's/Graduate Degree.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar capacity.
• Technical certifications are preferred.
Local hiring from inside Kuwait.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
