Summary: We are looking to grow our database of linguists looking for a long-term partnership and ongoing work with us on MedDRA projects for our Life Science clients. A linguist translating for MedDRA will ideally have 10+ years experience in a medical or scientific field, a MD or PhD in a medical field (though MSc or roles working within the medical industry are acceptable also), be fluent in English and Bulgarian and share our core values.

Key Position Responsibilities:

• Translate and proofread various types of documents (based on subject matter expertise)

• Ensure translated documents mirror the original source document

• Efficiently maintain formal disciplined operational procedures across variety of client projects

• Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions

• Personally perform project QA steps

• Properly utilize all appropriate supplemental materials (refer to client PAQ, reference materials, glossaries, etc.) making sure they are consistent throughout the jobs

• Be responsible for any errors/omissions associated with a project in which they are involved

Required Experience / Skills:

• 10+ years work experience plus a medical qualification (ideally a PhD)

• Bilingual fluency in English and Bulgarian with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

• Satisfactory results on company tests administered as part of the application process administered to all linguists according to our quality and ISO requirements.
