Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

In this role you will commercially drive and execute various orders/projects in Kuwait. Additionally you will also be responsible tasks within commercial bidding and performance controlling.

Commercial Project Manager

 Commercial and financial management of projects with the aim of finishing the project(s) in the given time, budget and quality framework with the greatest possible positive profit and to the complete customer's satisfaction, including cost controlling, project accounting, procurement, payments (supplier/customers), currency management, taxes, invoicing, claim management, contract management, risk management, project set up in Spiridon/SAP, cost and revenue planning, project calculation updates.

 Ensures the accuracy of project books and records. Ensures compliance with Siemens Finance Reporting Guidelines (FRG) and IFRS-15 according to FRG.

 Supports Project Manager so that project financial results are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.

 Actively communicates with customer and manage solving commercial issues (invoice approvals, payments, change orders, claims, etc) during project implementation.

 Together with the project manager, be proactively setting up a claim management process in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned salesperson.

 Supports the project manager in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities – taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities within the project.

 Assist project manager and/or engineering manager, in drafting contractual letters towards customers/vendors that have financial impact on the project.

 Taking care of PATAC / Export Control topics in the project execution

 Monthly project review reporting via dedicated reporting tool and participating in project review meetings with business management.

Sales Commercial

 Working with the bid team to produce value adding analysis of the estimates to understand the competitive position of the bid and to ensure estimates are complete.

 Management of all financial inputs to the tendering process, including foreign currency risk, credit risk, project cashflow and finance related terms and conditions.

 Successful offer/project realization within the given time and cost framework in compliance with internal and external regulations.

 Negotiation of Contracts with customers.

Controlling Professional

 Gathers and consolidates budget data and monitors Actual vs. Plans comparisons.

 Pursues schedules for budget, forecast or KPI reporting, and corresponds with accountable line management.

 Periodic evaluations of assets and liabilities.

 Prepares regular business reports, checks for accuracy and completeness.

 Monthly / quarterly reporting to Divisions/Lead Country for various aspects of business

 Carry out ad-hoc analysis and profitability checks.

Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital And Solid!

You are professionally qualified (Bachelors in Accounting / Business Administration or equivalent qualification)

5+ Years of Experience on Current and relevant Accounting, Commercial and Legal topics relating to Systems, Solution & Service Business. Practical experience on all relevant functions and Task related to Commercial and Contracting activities.

IFRS 15 knowledge is required

Preferably a Certified Commercial Project Manager for S/C Projects

Ability to work in a complete Multinational environment.

Strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility and initiative.

Good English communication and writing skills.
