Training Coordinator

Job Description
The position holder shall be able to develops and administers training programs for employees, assesses training and development needs for organization, helps individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge, creates training manuals, presents in-person training sessions, monitors training for effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with HR Manager and line managers.



Oversees training programs that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more

Participate in Kuwaitization efforts and provide training and focus to the Trainee staff and guide them to successfully complete the trainings plans.



Provide feedback to the trainees and the concerned managers regarding the development of the employee.



Monitors training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary.



Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments



Manage costs for all programs, productions, and publications to report to HR Manager regarding a return on investment



Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for National and Expats



Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations



Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them



Manage training budget in consultation with HR Manager

Skills


Demonstrated competence at engineering level with adequate education and training supported.

 

Experience

Proven work experience in designing and executing successful training programs



Required skill(s): knowledge of technical training theory, exposure to industrial training with minimum of 2-3 years’ experience



Good Written and Verbal Communication (English & Arabic), interpersonal, Excellent communication and leadership skills,

Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Planning Skills, Time Management, Attention to Detail and Decision Making



Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, etc.)



Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals, good utilization of Office 365, SharePoint applications is preferred.
